Public Relations Experience
Assistant Account Executive
Jan. – March 2025

FINN Partners
New York, NY
Media Relations | Client Relations | Earned Media

In my account administrative role for luxury clients at FINN Partners Travel, I supported media relations activities for global travel, tourism and wellness brands. Particularly, I collaborated with colleagues to inform clients of secured media coverage across national, regional and local publications. I prepared and distributed monthly account reports, wrote conference call agendas, and coordinated with social media influencers to secure social coverage and partnerships positioning Montage and Oberoi as premier international luxury hotel brands.
While supporting and tracking earned media initiatives, I contributed to comprehensive PR plans, curated and updated targeted media lists, compiled lists of travel and wellness publications’ awards, drafted personalized media pitches, monitored media coverage, wrote weekly client recaps, and served as a key client contact. Additionally, I performed proactive research on travel trends, industry competitors and potential weather phenomena affecting regional tourism and client revenue.
Marketing & Web Specialist
Feb. 2024 – Jan. 2025

Boston University Center for Stuttering Therapy
Boston, MA
Website Management | University Advancement | Fundraising

My program marketing experience includes coordinating WordPress content management and owned media strategies for the Center for Stuttering Therapy (CST) at Boston University’s Sargent College. Here, I updated the website's outdated website to drive traffic and increase website visibility. I created and maintained web pages to highlight the Center’s holistic approach, outline clinical resources, proactively answer prospective client FAQs, and showcase client testimonials.
Achieving a 115% increase in adult group therapy clients from spring 2024 to fall 2024, I enhanced the Center's impact across Massachusetts as the university partnered with the NSA-Boston chapter and strengthened its outreach to the local stuttering community.
While promoting the Center's advocacy initiatives, I wrote a Sargent College web story spotlighting a campus visit by nonprofit founder and NBA veteran Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Michael visited speech-language pathology program faculty and students in his outreach with US. universities, children's hospitals and elected officials. I profiled his journey from Kentucky Wildcats NCAA champion to founder of Change & Impact, Inc. Above all, I illustrated Michael and the university's shared commitment to expanding healthcare access and insurance coverage for speech therapy in the United States.

My blog writing positioned the Center's director as a thought leader in stuttering research and demonstrated the Center's mission to enhance quality of life for people who stutter. Additionally, I crafted the Center's fundraising page for BU Giving Day 2025. Acquiring individual and corporate donations, I called university stakeholders to action. Contributions enabled the Center to expand clinical services by hiring and training additional supervisors in response to growing client demand. These vital funds help the Center equip clients to be competent and confident communicators – at no cost to clients and families.
Communications & Development Specialist
April 2023 – July 2024

Freelance: Special Olympics Massachusetts & Tidepool
Boston, MA
Civic Engagement | Digital Marketing | Photography

Utilizing my community outreach, multimedia copywriting and photography skills, I engaged Special Olympics Massachusetts community partners and grew enrollment for inclusive youth programs. Through collaborations with Dorchester residents and organizational leaders, I wrote web and email newsletter stories. These publications increased awareness among Massachusetts families and corporate sponsors of the annual Summer Games at Harvard University and year-round inclusive sports programs promoting healthful outcomes for athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Similarly, I supported the communications needs of Tidepool, a start-up New Jersey Shore tourism and local business app, by aiding its user engagement strategy prior to its launch on the Apple store. I wrote brief descriptions of more than 150 businesses and reviews of family-owned restaurants to create a user-friendly experience for the app's target audience of seasonal visitors.
Communications Resident
July 2022 – August 2022

Little League International
Williamsport, PA
Multimedia Campaigns | Social Media Publishing | Fan Engagement | Teamwork

During this hybrid experience, I supported storytelling across digital, social, web, and broadcast media channels for the world's largest youth sports organization. Collaborating with executives and department leaders, I organized MLB Network and ESPN media assets to archive sportsmanship moments, baseball highlights and softball highlights to LittleLeague.org during broadcasts on ESPN’s linear and streaming platforms. Additionally, I supported social media publishing on TikTok (785.6K views), Instagram (25K likes), Facebook (63K views), YouTube (6.5K views) and X (237 likes).
Furthermore, I showed initiative in completing tasks beyond my position’s responsibilities by writing web stories using WordPress. Leveraging my journalism background, I published blog stories spotlighting the grassroots Jimmy Fund Little League fundraising program, distinguished Little League alumni, outstanding volunteers and youth softball athletes.
On site at the 75th Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport, PA, I maximized fans' experience by filming videoboard footage using wired and wireless digital cameras and operating TriCaster and MotionRocket broadcast equipment in Lamade Stadium's control room.
Collaborating with seasonal media team colleagues, the Senior Director of Communications, Senior Communications Executive, Director of Social and Digital Strategy, and Director of Web and Emerging Technologies, I highlighted unique stories of the summer’s 8 global Little League Baseball and Softball tournaments, with more than 500 youth athletes competing from 16 countries.
Digital Content Director, Sports PR Summit
Jan. – June 2022

Newhouse PR Department
Manhattan, NY
Internal Communications | PR Management | Integrated Marketing | Event Planning

As digital content director, I led a team of 10 social and digital media strategists promoting the annual Sports PR Summit in Manhattan. Through this leadership position, I researched global journalism, PR and advertising trends and published concise recaps of the event’s keynote panel discussions. Prior to the event, I conducted virtual interviews with the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award honorees from Nike and ESPN. Through these conversations, I produced feature stories and created social media content for event sponsors (ESPN and Morgan Stanley) highlighting career excellence in corporate communications, philanthropy and civic outreach.
This role also enabled me to research timely sports industry topics such as NIL in collegiate athletics, media access of athletes during the COVID-19 pandemic, NASCAR’s commitment to social justice and the state of women’s sports amid the 50th anniversary of Title IX. Through my research and interactions with stakeholders, I developed a content calendar to ensure maximum reach across social, web, earned and internal communications channels.
Notably, I enhanced the event’s national reputation and ability to attain professional sports commissioners and Edward R. Murrow Award-winning journalists such as Tom Rinaldi as keynote speakers.
Campaign Marketing Strategist
Jan. – May 2022

FOX Sports University
Syracuse, NY
Integrated Marketing | Owned Media | Live Sports Production

While completing my master’s degree at Syracuse, I created and pitched an integrated marketing campaign to FOX Sports executives, promoting the network's exclusive presentation of the 2022 MLB at Field of Dreams Game.
In achieving client’s goals of increasing national awareness of the flagship game and earning 3 million linear TV viewers, I conducted audience demographic research and created event promotion strategies for paid, earned, shared and owned media channels. Specifically, my campaign tactics engaged national and Midwest region viewers, with an emphasis on Chicago and Cincinnati media markets, by promoting athletes’ personal backgrounds, spotlighting key father-son storylines and enhancing FOX on-air talent’s engagement with target audiences.
Teaching Assistant
(PR Ethics Course)
Aug. 2021 – May 2022

S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University
Syracuse, NY
Ethical Business Practices | Corporate Social Responsibility | Student Services

While earning my master’s degree from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, I was selected for a merit scholarship teaching assistant for a required PR Ethics course in the undergraduate curriculum.
In my TA position, I took pride in supporting the learning experience of 125 students enrolled in the course across two semesters. My weekly responsibilities included holding office hours with students, creating quiz questions, moderating discussion posts, grading written and in-class participation, managing attendance, and creating course management documents on Google Workspace.
I further assisted the course professor by facilitating student discussions focused on corporate social responsibility, social justice, sustainability, philanthropy, artificial intelligence, internal communications, layoffs, crisis communications and ethical business practices.
Athletic Communications Assistant
Jan. 2021 – May 2021

Allen University Athletic Department
Columbia, SC
Digital Media | Community Engagement |
Event Coverage

While working for Allen University’s athletic communications department, I enhanced digital storytelling for the historically Black University’s athletic programs. To support the university’s transition to the NCAA’s Division II from the NAIA, I earned local media coverage and published written content across owned media channels.
Due to COVID-19 protocols prohibiting spectators from attending indoor athletic events on campus during the 2020-21 winter sports season, I directed digital engagement efforts with local and regional audiences. In addition to supporting virtual broadcasts of athletic competitions, I wrote 40 web recaps of men’s and women’s Yellow Jackets basketball games to promote coach and student-athlete accomplishments. I also supported event management and Southern Intercollegiate Conference statistical archives by recording real-time statistics on CBS Stat Crew Software at the scorer’s table during competitions and distributing box scores to coaching staffs.
After completing my position, I received my journalism school's Outstanding Public Relations Internship Award, recognizing me for utilizing the multimedia skills gained in my academic coursework and student media experiences after switching my major to public relations.
Advancement Communications Writer
Jan. 2021 - May 2021
College of Information and Communications
Columbia, SC
Digital Publishing | Donor Relations | Advancement Communications

As an advancement communications writer for the University of South Carolina’s College of Information and Communications, I collaborated with the college's development and editorial teams to maintain strategic relationships with donors and alumni. Utilizing my research, interviewing, AP Style writing and Adobe InDesign skills, I produced the 2021 issue of college’s annual alumni magazine. By writing short-form content and faculty spotlight articles mailed directly to major donors, I promoted academic advancement, faculty research, alumni news and the college’s commitment to inclusion.
Specifically, I highlighted the college’s newly-offered online Master of Mass Communications program and visual communications instructor’s podcast connecting students with creative industry professionals for networking and job search opportunities.
Multimedia Reporter
Sept. 2017 – May 2020

The Daily Gamecock
Columbia, SC
Interviewing | Deadline Management | AP Style | Copy Editing

As a multimedia reporter for the University of South Carolina's student newspaper, I provided weekly coverage of Southeastern Conference (SEC) athletics. Cumulatively, I authored 62 articles on weekly deadlines for digital and print publications reaching 63,000 subscribers. I reported on SEC football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, club ice hockey and Gamecock Baseball alumni competing in Major League Baseball. As a reporter, I performed extensive research and interviews to write engaging and informative features, columns, previews and recaps.
When covering Gamecocks athletics and NCAA Division I events at venues, I posted live updates on X, formerly Twitter, to inform fans following on social media. For example, I live-tweeted the 2020 Palmetto Series neutral-site baseball game between South Carolina and Clemson at MLB Double AA ballpark, Segra Park.
My student media experience strengthened my knowledge and application of AP Style to my writing, developing the necessary skills to become a more effective researcher, interviewer, writer and copy editor. This role also presented me with many opportunities to collaborate with editors and copy desk staffers to discuss weekly coverage and big-picture editorial priorities.
Camp SAY Office Associate
July – Aug. 2019

SAY (Stuttering Association for the Young)
East Stroudsburg, PA
Mentorship | Collaboration | Stewardship

At Camp SAY, I served as a dependable role model for children (ages 6 to 18) who stutter by contributing to an environment that empowered them to enhance self-esteem and express themselves without hesitation. Additionally, I collaborated with SAY administrative and marketing leaders to coordinate confidence-building activities, manage outdoor events, distribute mail from parents, and fill in for overnight bunk counselors.
Providing 24-hour care to more than 200 children, I proactively communicated with camp directors and the office manager to fulfill camp-wide tasks, maximizing the experience of every child.
Prior to the summer camp in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, I underwent a collaborative training program alongside SAY leadership and camp staff featuring modules for interpersonal communication, vertical communication, workplace ethics, safety guidelines, conflict resolution, and unconscious bias.
Literacy Outreach Volunteer
April 2019 – March 2020

South Carolina Center for Community Literacy
Columbia, SC
Civic Engagement | Youth Literacy | Higher Education
Volunteering with the University of South Carolina's literacy outreach program, I visited elementary schools throughout South Carolina with Cocky, our university's beloved mascot, and fellow volunteers. At the schools, we read children's books aloud while Cocky acted out the stories to promote childhood literacy and encourage children to become lifelong learners.
Since I developed my passion for learning at a young age, I enjoyed interacting with children and their caregivers and supporting higher education by being part of a young child's potential first interaction with a university.
Hardware Sales Associate
May 2013 – July 2019

Colmar True Value Home Center
Margate City, NJ
Customer Service | Mentorship | Adaptability

In this role, I took pride in providing exceptional service and facilitating sales by managing inventory documents, stocking merchandise, serving as cashier, operating key- and lumber-cutting machinery, mentoring employees, and delivering Weber grill and patio furniture orders to customers’ homes.
Holding this position on a full-time basis during my summer and winter breaks of high school through college, I demonstrated my strong work ethic, adaptability and attention to detail while maintaining the store's family-friendly reputation as part of a welcoming and helpful staff in a South Jersey shore community.
